BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CLUB

ESAN AKUGBE ONE FAMILY SOCIAL CLUB INTERNATIONAL: The club was birthed with the coming together of few individuals of like minds... To be eligible for membership, an interested member must hail from Esan land by birth. Membership of the club cuts across Esan sons and daughters living in Nigeria and the diaspora...

ESAN AKUGBE ONE FAMILY SOCIAL CLUB INTERNATIONAL: The club was birthed with the coming together of few individuals of like minds in Esand land, cutting across diverse villages and Towns in Esan nation to propagate the promotion of love and togetherness amongst it's members. The aim was primarily centered on promoting oneness, show of love and understanding among members, stimulate solidarity and to lend our voices to the calls to correcting the cultural decay bedviling our dear Esand land. To be eligible for membership, an interested member must hail from Esan land by birth. Membership of the club cut across Esan Sons and daughtes living in Nigeria and the diaspora. And the meeting is designed to hold basically online. The most fundamental aim is to grow the club to be equipped with the capacity to give a helping hand to the less privilege in Esand land. The Club, had it's inaugural meeting in October 2023, to date the club have grow in membership to a total number of 42 members.. Esan Akugbe One Family Social Club International was officially launched in April 2024 at Ewohim Town, since then we have embarked on series of activities at promoting awareness about the Club and it's primary objectives to stimulate for more membership enrollment. Because, we believe the more, the merrier in achieving our set goals Esan Akugbe One Family Social Club International, is a registered club with the corporate Affiars commission (CAC) in Nigeria. And has five (5) board of trustees members and the club operates it's account with United Bank for Africa (UBA). We have two main organs that drives the progress and proceedings of the club to fruition. These are the Executives members, led by the president of the club who preside over all meetings and the General members of the club who often have the final rights to approve the decisions/suggestions taken at the Executives meeting before implementations are effected. The Club holds it's meeting at every second Sunday of the month. And members resident in Lagos and it's eviron meet physically three times a year. While, Members in the diaspora join such meeting virtually.
